THE EXPERIENCE

Join us for a Sunday Supper that will remind you of the good home cooking your parents or grandparents served! This special Father’s Day Supper will celebrate the delicious produce and local foods of the season, selected by our favorite chef Holly Hambright. Enjoy a cocktail before dinner while exploring the buildings and grounds of Murphy Farm, one of Knox County’s oldest family farms that dates to 1797. Special guests and contributors who also participated in the 2013 Hollyhock Stock Summer Supper include Stanton Webster of PostModern Spirits, Stephen Apking of Hexagon Brewing Company, and Darrell Benton of Benton’s Smoky Mountain Country Hams.

THE EXPERIENCE

Kick off the summer season with Knox Heritage at a festive celebration of the unique art and architecture of our city.

We’ll gather at the gorgeously restored Candoro Marble Building, the home of Tri-Star Arts*.  We’ll spend time with the Executive Director of Tri Star Arts, meet the artists-in-residence and see their work.  We’ll also enjoy cocktails in the main gallery and explore the work of June’s featured artist, Joshua Bienko. The PBD Trio will be on hand to entertain us with standards old and new, and we’ll enjoy a farm to table menu inspired by the best East Tennessee has to offer.

Please dress in fun summer casual wear, and gents, don’t forget your Aloha shirts!  We are going to have a good time!

THE EXPERIENCE

Treat yourself to a leisurely evening among the flowers, stone structures, and historic gardens of the Knoxville Botanical Gardens, previously known as the Howell Nursery from 1786 until 2003.

Tour the distinctive architectural features of the Howell home while having appetizers and a signature drink. Walk the grounds among the full blooming summer flowers, discover the Secret Garden, and enjoy a gourmet supper in the cool comfort of the architecturally-designed Dogwood Center.
