Annual December Round Table Discussion Available For Homeowners
Knoxville, Tenn. – Knox Heritage presents the next installment of the monthly series, Preservation Network, on Saturday, December 8, at 10:00 a.m. Preservation Network is held at the Time Warp Tea Room, 1209 N. Central, in Historic Old North Knoxville.
The December Preservation Network once again features an open, round-table discussion setting for old house owners and anyone interested in historic preservation and renovation projects. The public is invited to come and share their success stories, challenges, and gain knowledge from their peers during this session.
Preservation Network is a series of free workshops held on the second Saturday of every month. Many people have dubbed this the “support group for owners of old homes,” and in many ways this is true. In a relaxed round-table setting with coffee, smoothies, and other goodies, the workshops present trades specialists in windows, flooring, roofing, stained glass, tile, plumbing, electrical, and more. The event also invites homeowners who are engaged in or have completed a renovation project to share their experiences. Codes and zoning officials discuss historic overlays and building requirements.
