KNOX HERITAGE PRESENTS THE MONTHLY
PRESERVATION NETWORK, MARCH 8, 2008
Come For A Chance To Win A Free Knox Heritage Patron Membership
Knoxville, Tenn. – Knox Heritage presents the next installment of the monthly series Preservation Network on Saturday, March 8, at 10:00 a.m. Preservation Network is held at the Time Warp Tea Room, 1209 N. Central, in Historic Old North Knoxville.
Attendees at the Preservation Network can register for a drawing on April 12 that will entitle the winner to a free one-year membership in Knox Heritage at the Patron level. This Patron membership can be redeemed by the winner or given as a gift. In addition to early notification of Summer Suppers, Patron members are invited to the Annual Patron’s Party, this year on April 17 at the home of John Trotter, formerly the Dulin Art Gallery.
The March session of Preservation Network will feature Jim Holsomback and Eddie Howard of Heritage Termite and Pest Control. They will discuss and invite questions on topics related to dealing with pest control and prevention in historic homes.
Preservation Network is a series of free workshops held on the second Saturday of every month. Many people have dubbed this the “support group for owners of old homes,” and in many ways this is true. In a relaxed round-table setting with coffee, smoothies, and other goodies, the workshops present trades specialists in windows, flooring, roofing, stained glass, tile, plumbing, electrical, and more.
